We’ve always loved the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and that passion prompted us to work there. Since CNC started handling Edinburgh Fringe PR, we have worked with a number of award-winning knock-outs including Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag in 2013 and Sabrina Mahfouz’s Chef in 2014.
During the Fringe, we open our Edinburgh office in the heart of the city. Chloé bases herself in Edinburgh for all of August along with other supporting members of the team who are all very familiar with Edinburgh and the specialities of the Fringe. In 2014, Chloé won the inaugural ‘Nailing It’ award for her outstanding work at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of #Happyhour celebrating the best of Edinburgh’s talent.
The personal touch is very important to CNC and we are present in Edinburgh for the Fringe launch in June. We meet with journalists face-to-face to discuss CNC’s Edinburgh stable of shows which helps better convey our Edinburgh programme. We have strong and established connections with journalists across various outlets including radio, TV, print media and online outlets.
The Fringe is an amazing 24-hour a day beast and CNC are on-call 24/7 for any press queries. From breakfast meetings to late night drinks, we spend all day every day with journalists and clients. We don our tartan and embrace the Edinburgh Festival in every way possible.
We confirm our Edinburgh shows by the end of March each year, ready to launch our Edinburgh Fringe PR campaigns in mid-April. You can download press releases and images and watch trailers on these pages but press releases are also available to journalists as hard copy press packs, by email and on memory sticks.
Make sure our shows are on your to-see list this year.
2017 is set to be one of our most exciting Edinburgh Fringe’s yet; our 26 shows cover a range of genres that are guaranteed to make you want to extend your stay in Edinburgh including captivating circus, contemporary new writing, devised theatre, magical mime, children’s theatre, puppetry and laugh-out-loud comedy!
In 2016, our 22 shows covered some of the best in the Fringe programme including children’s theatre, puppetry, mesmerising circus, contemporary new writing and comedy!
For 2015, our programme was bigger and better than ever with world premieres, outstanding circus sensations, old favourites and some of the most fantastic and powerful new writing in the year’s programme.
‘Reeling’ from the success of the previous year, we donned the tartan and took another selection of fantastic shows to Edinburgh as well as working with the IdeasTap Underbelly Award.
In 2013, we looked after six incredible, but very different, productions – highly acclaimed, five-star, award-winning knock outs – including Fleabag, Gardening: For The Unfulfilled And Alienated and Trash Cuisine.
2012 was our debut year at the Edinburgh Fringe where we looked after the fabulous Back To School that premiered at the Braidwood Community Centre with the Pleasance.
